South South nations have issues of agricultural education. The collaboration in post graduate teaching and research for M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree programme can solve this issue to a larger extent. Trainings to the researchers and teachers for upgrading knowledge in cutting edge science.
India has a very strong network of agricultural education with four deemed to be universities; three central agricultural universities, 65 state agricultural/ horticultural/ animal science and fisheries universities and four central universities with agriculture faculty. Post graduate teaching and research for M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes is being undertaken in more than 80 discipline.
Agricultural education can be imparted to any country though the various modes like Sandwich degree programme, teaching in one country and research in other country, faculty exchange and training of faculty. Establishment of new Institutions in the collaborating nations can be one activity.
More post-graduates and Ph.D. pass out for taking up the research and teaching of collaborating countries. Training in cutting edge technology and teaching tools will help in upgrading research and teaching skills of the scientists.
Agricultural education for M.Sc. and Ph.D. programmes, sharing of faculty, training of faculty, establishment of agricultural research and education Institutes will help in strengthening the research and education system of collaborating nations.
