The platform is led by ICRISAT in partnership with NARS partners, CGIAR institutions, doners, private sector and other institutions-—bringing together a diverse coalition committed to advancing agricultural transformation across the Global South.
Governments, research institutions, NGOs, agri-businesses, CGIAR centers, small-holder farmers and innovation hubs from the Global South are all welcome to submit scalable solutions. ISSCA welcomes contributions that have demonstrated impact and adaptability, with the potential to benefit communities in similar agroecological and socio-economic contexts.

Learning under the ISSCA will take place across a diverse range of countries in the Global South. In-country trainings, field demonstrations, policy immersions, and capacity-building workshops will be organized in partnership with local institutions and regional hubs to ensure relevance and accessibility.
These programs are designed to bring knowledge closer to the context where it is most needed—whether in Sub-Saharan Africa, Southeast Asia, Latin America, or other regions—enabling participants to learn in real-world agricultural settings alongside peers facing similar challenges.
